If you don't know could you direct me. I'm wanting to go to the Cresson 'inside pass' track day October 23rd. Will the 1125R be there? Will there be more than one, in case of crash or failure? This is the main reason for me going. As it is 600 miles away at todays gas prices and crappy truck mileage you can understand my concern. Thanks for all you do!!! |

Rhun, I did the insider pass yesterday at VIR. There will be about 30 1125s. I rode it 4 times and there were extra bikes available each time. You can get information from: http://www.privatetracktime.com/buell_days/insidep ass/event_102307.aspx |

My impression is it's a great deal. You get a trackday on someone elses bike. It's an exciting bike. The PTT people who put on the event are excellent. You will have a good time. Make sure to take advantage of the coaching that PTT offers. |

How many other manufacturers let you go out and ride un-released models, at a private track, at (mostly) their own expense? Makes me proud to ride a Buell! |

I think it's fantastic marketing. They are going to get people on those bikes who would never have reason to sit on a Buell, and associate them with a lot of good memories. |

I made it into the advanced class. Looks like they filled the Buell spots first then PTT. Buell was sold out PTT wasn't. but only advanced was left. I ride advanced at some trackdays so it is okay, although strange track and different bike, I hope I don't get ended by an I4. I'm looking forward to it. I'm glad I didn't wait any longer or all the spots would have been gone. I'm really really glad you responded!!!! |

Rhun, check out MSRCs website for the track layout & location since you'll be coming from a ways away. My wife, 2 of my friends and I will be there, and I hear Smoke will be there too. http://www.motorsportranch.com/ I believe they're gonna run the 1.7 mile course, so you shouldn't have to worry too much 'bout an I4 running you over since you'll be turning a lot (12). Rattlesnake is fun if you set up for it just right, but be careful with Horseshoe (off camber uphill left) until you've got it dialed in. Last word of caution is watch out on your entry & exit at Big Bend until the track has warmed up. A lot of dust seems to collect there and makes it treacherous in the morning sessions. |
