Many of you will recall a thinly veiled, neigh on about the time the Ulysses was introduced, "ahhhhh, but there's more in the works".

Well I am totally digging the new "FAQ" section on www.buell.com. I gather from the lack of "comm chatter" that I may be the only one who has found it , so follow more over and let's take a look see.

Up there . . . see it? . . in the very upper right hand corner. . . yep , a new icon was slipped in as you slept at your desk yesterday.

This, on the heels of the recent "online chat" with Erik and The Elves (that was cut short by Erik's wife and kid demanding he get home with the ice cream) is, in my mind a HUGE move.

The FAQ pages are manned by a young fellow who sits a a desk designed by an old time Buell engineer. The desk, from the photos I've seen has about 484 knobs, 42 dials and 17 sliders, with 14 transducers connected to the young man's body and all the 2005 and 2006 Buell Owners Manuals (yep, you'll find parts of them (like break in procedures) printed right there in the FAQ section). sitting atop scanners using the latest 2.4GhZ nano-mega-technology to fire answers at Buell owners at a safe (yep, the legal disclaimers are ALL there) yet effective speed.

Anyway...slip over...get yourself up to date with the latest advancement at www.buell.com and let me know what you think.

P.S. - not one word from the pundits about the myriad of legal disclaimers. This is the "real world" and the good folks in legal, the ones who consider the most acceptable risk to be to NOT DO something, are playing nicely with others as long as they get their input. Personally, I think it's cool to see Buell continue to forge ahead and distinguish themselves and "the company who talks to owners".

Dig it!

Nice touch. We should not let this addition go unnoticed or unused.

Can the parts books online be soon to follow?

I'll probably get in trouble for posting an employees pic on the internet, but I am so excited about this, I am willing to throw caution to the wind!

Online Owner's Manuals! Way to go Buell!

The window for the Uly Owner's Manual I opened just for fun did act kinda strange though until I scrolled up a bit. At first it wouldn't let me resize the window other than doing an F11 (full screen mode) and it was not wide enough to display the entire text. But once I scrolled up it allowed the drag to resize just fine.

Will look into more of it later. Great stuff. Thanks for the heads up on that Court. : )

I was surfing around the site a week or two ago and ran into the online storybook "The Naked Truth." Kinda made me cringe in a few spots, a bit to concentrated form of Kool-Aid spilled onto the effort in some spots methinks, but overall pretty darn good stuff. More content is better. : )

Blake -- I, too, found the Naked Truth a bit, er, ehem, representing an opportunity for improvement (now THERE'S PC for ya!) -- til I realized I was looking at, not a book, not a manual, not a treatise, but, rather, a faily long advertisment -- in that light, it's kinda cool

big kudos and extra raison pie for the folks at Buell.Com for the FAQ deal and Manual posting -- much progress (I know it is, in some ways, a return to the past, but laudable for all that anyways)

thanks, folks!

OK...where is "The Naked Truth" on Buell.com? Looked all over but couldn't find it.

I would like to see the manuals on-line as PDF files as well so I could just download the whole thing and keep it on my laptop.

Just my two cents...
