Jerome: I downloaded the X1 dyno mp3 files you mentioned. I'd like to come up with something even better. Sound files are big though. Anyone out there willing to make a high quality, full dynamic range recording of their throaty Buell? Not straight pipes, but not stock either. Although, the stock X1 sure sounded loud in the MP3 Jerome mentioned. | ||

The German Buell site's video soundtrack less the tunes would be pretty good. I like the run-by type fade-in...fade-out effect. The MP3 Jerome suggested is a dyno run which by nature goes through the gears too fast and spends most of the time at very high RPM. I like the idling and throttle blipping at the end though. | ||

Blake, can you allow the text to fill the left margin below the posters name? The new format makes the text too wide for viewing without arrowing side to side. The new format looks great. thanks | ||

OK, here's what I did: You can combine codes. For example, you can make something bold, red, small and flashing if you just keep putting codes within codes. Using this principal, I took the standard "newurl" code and changed the description part, where normally your name for the link appears, and made it an image.  In the Storz thumbnaill, the preview photo is only 14k, well below the 45k limit and could obviously be smaller or larger and the destination photo is over 150k. Here's specifically what I did for the thumbnail:  Be sure to put two }'s at the end! I've done this before to make links that used logos (look on the links page and you'll see the old SAC BORG logo as a link to the site), so I figured why not thumbnails? Vik |
