Move the archives to the end of a thread instead of the beginning, that way you don't have to wait for them to load before you can read. Rob Patience Grasshopper, patience.  Seriously though, get cable. No really, unfortunately there is no way to easily move the subtopics listings to the bottom of the page. What we the custodians need to do is to consolidate the archives on discussion pages that develop long lists of archives. I just bought a helmet from newenough.com (A site I learned about on badweb). As part of the checkout procedure they offer to donate $1.00 to a motorcycling group of your choice. Badweb isn't on the list! I gave a dollar to ducattimonster.org because Court says they are the sexiest motorcycles ever made. But I would prefer to have given it to Badweb. I don't know what you have to do to get on their list, but it's free money! | ||

Thanks for the sage advice Tramp. Jerseydevil, As the links page is not a discussion page, intended only for posting links to other web pages of interest, we prefer to have the newest contributions show up at the top. As there should be no date relevance or relationship between individual posts, no interrelated thread of posts so to speak, the order of listing should be of little consequence and hopefully the unorthodox format will help preclude the tendency for us to engage in casual conversation. Hmmm... maybe we should put the Cool Pics in reverse chron order too. Anyway, if we changed it now, after years of existing in its current form, how much confusion might that cause? Your request reminds me of the early days of BadWeB when we had a couple requests that all the pages be formatted in reverse chronological order. We tried it. We didn't like it at all, so I understand your view on the issue even for the "Links" page. It is definitely "Different in Every Sense." | ||

Don't know if anyone else has suggested this or not, but how about a non motorcycle related section in the Classifieds? I have a bunch of items that I want to sell (ie. auto carb, cell phone, & more) and would like to offer them here before going elsewhere. I don't feel right and won't post them in the parts for sale section. Any possibilities? Thanks... | ||

BadWeB serves up over 90GB/mo. Eazy, I think it's best if we try to keep the BadWeB as motorcycle related as possible. Folks don't visit this site looking for automobile parts or cell phones; they come here mainly for the motorcycle content, so it would be a poor marketplace for non-moto related stuff. Your best best to garner a good sale would be on ebay or another similar auction site. | ||
