Bring back the "Last Three Days" function. "Last Day" is not enough if you miss a day and "Last Week" is much too much info to sift thru most of the time.

Have a Tech only department , one for Tubers, and one for the XB line, nothing but tech questions and performance/maintenance tips.

Being able to create a new topic or thread inside of the Storm Fronts section for each local riding group would allow for posting of details of riding adventures particular to that group. I think this would be the best way, but I will probably fall on my back up plan of creating a new topic/thread in the Tale Section and just starting the title with C-3 Adventure in order to keep all of the Carolina Corner Carver Adventures in one area. The first Adventure posted will be the experiences 3 of the members had on a weekend trip to Daytona. I may have to go back in time to post some previous activities/adventures.

Sokota,

Done. It's called the "Knowledge Vault". For all Buells. Posters of model specific questions or information should specify the model in their thread title.

I just noticed HTML tags in the window title bar. I tried viewing BadWeb with both Opera and IE and I got the same results.

For example, for this thread, the window title bar contains: The Bad Weather Bikers' BBS: <font face="verdana"><i>Suggestions for a Better BadWeb</i></font>

The XBoard reads: The Bad Weather Bikers' BBS: <font size="+1"><b><i><font face="verdana">XB</font></i></b></font>

Are you saying that you are seeing the HTML code displayed on the web page? The titles you mention appear fine for me. Try rebooting.

The title of the pages include HTML code like he says. I've always seen that with IE on several of the pages.

What browser do you use Blake?

I gotcha. Yes, I see the same thing. I thought Fred was talking about the title as displayed on the actual page.

I am a member of a classic pontiac site, and it puts a red asterisk next to titles of topics i have posted in. makes it easier to remember which was which, and stuff i posted while slightly inebriated.

Great site Blake,

Thanks!

A sticky or permenant link at the top of the XBoard for new posters to read before posting, suggesting they do a search of common items of topic. Explaining to them that this board has been around for quite awhile and that common topical questions about things like gas, tires, oil, sparkplugs and such have already been discussed and that the search function will allow them to get caught up in the game. It just is starting to get very monotonous on the XBoard when people start a thread about a topic that is already a current thread just a few down from the new one they just started. It also seems like we get asked about tires oil and front end vibrations almost weekly now.

Blake, you know what would be cool?

A BadWeb Ladies Forum.

If Court can have his own forum, certainly there's room for the gals. I know there's quite a few women Buellers, but I don't see them post that often to the other forums. If you could create for them a forum of their own, perhaps more of them would come out, and post and participate. I know, I know, they can post now anytime they want to, but its really male-dominated around here, and sometimes I feel like I'm in a noisy beer-bar with my buddies. Which is fine, I like hanging out in the pub, but you know what I mean...

And in the Ladies Forum the guys could post as well, of course, and perhaps some of them would even be better behaved if they felt they were in the "presence" of women.

Whattya say?

I like it too. Since my daughter joined the madness I especially like it.

I'd like to have a "search exact phrase" included in the search menu.

Please do give the Ladies forum a go via a new topic in the Quick Board. If it takes off and does well, we can move it to a new topic of its own. Good idea. : )

Kowpow,
I think what you are wanting is already available. Put your desired phrase in quotes and select the "match all words" and "match whole words only" options. Please note though that most common words like "the", "motorcycle", "through", and such are not indexed by BadWeB's lightning fast search engine.

One thing I'd like to have is a more flexible search, such as by subtopic. That would be very helpful. Maybe next upgrade. : ) Thanks for the suggestion. : )

I'm thinking about an area for former competitive all-around gymnast pilot construction workers, with active duty USMC and United States Secret Service tours behind them.

: )
