Just posted by Geoff to his FB page with the caption "I spy something new":

I can think of only one thing that "TC" stands for.

Most superbike racers have the facility to change engine map to suit different track conditions.

If you look at some factory WSB bikes they have similar buttons on both bars!

Awesome stuff but what the EBR needs is more Horsepower also. Its rumo
red Suzuki is getting ready for a change and Honda needs it also.

Honda and Yamaha will have new/substantially updated 1000cc Superbikes next year. I don't think Suzuki will for 2014 but would expect their new GSXR1000 to launch in 2015 in order to coincide with their return to MotoGP (if that happens of course!).

BMW may have pulled out from WSB but they have stated they are setting up a new customer race department, so we may see more 'private' BMW teams next year with better equipment than they currently have access to.

Likewise if Ducati manage to sort out the problems on teh Panigale they may be tempted back to AMA racing if they think rules suit them.

I expect KTM may not be around next year though, as their RC8 is getting very long in the tooth and no replacement is in sight yet (although they have hinted at a return to WSB in 2015/16).

Kawasaki is very strong in WSB and BSB at the moment, so they may be tempted to have a crack at AMA with a big budget team next year.

If Honda, Kawasaki and Ducati decided to come back to AMA racing with a 'proper' factory effort things could get harder for the smaller teams like EBR and the privateer guys.

Hopefully by that point EBR will have found some more horsepower and got the electronics fully sorted though : )

".....If Honda, Kawasaki and Ducati decided to come back to AMA racing with a 'proper' factory effort things could get harder for the smaller teams like EBR and the privateer guys....."

as a Road racing fan, I'd love it -
as a Buell fanboi, I'd hate it

doesn't matter - ain't gonna happen anytime soon.....
