Heres some footage and pics I got this weekend at Laguna Seca...

I did record almost the whole race, I quickly saw a post on here that said it wasnt going to be on TV and I already had camp setup on the hill, so I did my best to record it for you guys. If you watched live timing, and saw the place scores, you should be able to make out whos who in the video. Half way through the race I realized IOS7 Lets me zoomin/zoomout durring recording so it gets a little better. Still the best I can do.

Warm Up and Practice:

very nice pics.
i wonder why they have 3 radiators.
that has to add labor and material cost!
having one would be so much cleaner and cheaper. it would also take some heat from the exhaust pipe

though itd be overkill (assuming), maybe the bottom one is oil cooler?

Bottom is oil cooler. Radiators must be split to clear exhaust and front wheel. One big radiator would not work. There is no such thing as overkill when trying to remove heat from this bike. You need al you can get.
The brake ducts are on there. But it looks like they have trimmed them back.

My KLR-250 and KDX-200 both had split radiators, and those are very "cost optimized" bikes.

The split radiator is carryover from the 1125, where it was done in order to move the engine further forward for better weight distribution. The 1190 is a further advancement, keeping the split design but ditching the pods.

Neat warmup video. At about the 3:40 mark the bikes make a strong whine on hard decel, what causes that? Sounds like a weird turbo spool down.
They are wicked sounding bikes.

The whine you hear on decel is the idler sprocket. I jokingly tell people its my supercharger but we'd probly be winning if we had one of those!!!

All I can think about when I hear that gear noise on decel is the Back to Future Delorean spooling down. Call me crazy but it's the first thing that came to mind.

G, thanks for that info.

FWIW, AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport Full Race (HD) - Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca - 2013 has been posted on the AMA Pro Live Online DVR site. Cool, so we're hoping to see the DSB & SBK races to be posted here soon.

Thanks to my Roku device, a program called MyVideoBuzz, and the AMA Pro Live Online DVR I finally have the ability to watch the races on my HD television, instead of my 11.5 inch laptop screen. Small victories are great victories.

you could have spend 6 bucks and use the vga output to plug it to your tv. and but 10 buck speacker and plug to laptop. OR
if you have a windows SURFACE, not appple junk and plug it to your HDMI and you are all set.

The Roku is a very nice little device, and gets you both Netflix and Amazon Prime out of the box. Lack of Youtube was it's main weakness, and MyVideoBuzz is a nice plug for that hole.

When I asked about the new models, someone at the EBR pit mentioned that the new EBR street bikes may be seen a little later in the year, say around the time of the AIMExpo (mid-October). He wouldn't confirm exactly when though.

So, the 9th round of AMA Pro Racing at Laguna is around that time of year, isn't it? Are you thinking what I'm thinking - that this event could be the first unveiling in public for the RX or SX or AX? Remember the excitement when the Firebolt was first shown for demos at the Long Beach IMS? Gotta get some tix, this could be epic.

LOL. Not only have I outgrown an XBox, my *kids* have outgrown their Xbox.

If you want a gaming system, it's fine. If you don't want a gaming system, you would be an idiot to buy an XBox over a Roku.

Apologies to Bill and David for the advice on roku. Turns out roku issued a firmware update on August 2nd that effectively blocks the MyVideoBuzz channel and locks the roku device completely requiring a power cycle to reboot the device. The whole mess can be traced back to the "do no evil" Google doing evil. Back to square one!

Lots of no evil being done. :/

As it turns out, I ordered a chromecast device anyway, which should arrive soon. I got it just to play with it, I'll post a review of how it works. The price was right (under $50 to my door).
