Hi all.

Am trying to find a Beson exhaust for my Firebolt. Could any of you give me some possible sources to check with?

Thank you all for any help you may give me.

Not sure if Tom Beson makes them any more and I have no other knowledge other than the posts & Google below.

I have only ever seen ONE of those. Holy CRAP!! was that thing LOUD!!!! Betcha it won't pass DB test at the track.

The owner said it makes awesome power though. He has it on a 1050 race prepped XB-9.

Check with Rich at innovative motorcycle research. He may have a couple still.

I have one, I was told that they come single spring per connection point. Mine has two. I heard that this was done after it was built, but I don't know. Also, your left boot will never be the same. The heal guard on my Sidi's got so soft that it slipped off the screw that holds it in place.

You'll definitely hear it.

edit: IMR's site is down. You can find his number in an old RRW article about IMR and Pirelli going their separate ways.

IF you find one and it doesn't have the slip joints in mid pipe, you MUST get them made. Cracks like crazy.

I've finally replaced mine. Fell on it at least 3 times and it cracked each race weekend.

I was known as the LOUDEST bike on the Willow Springs Raceway. With ear plugs and helmets and 100 MPH wind, any rider could tell it was me following them.

They are unbelievably loud and are not allowed on any race track with sound restrictions.
