Nice tail pad built in and also looks as if he's been sliding across something in the leathers!

Are Cory and Dustin getting comfortable with the machinery? Facebook posts seem warm and fuzzy - curious about an "on the scene" report?

Lap time wise, they are not comfortable, Dustin is over a second off his best time at Las Vegas in the past on smaller bikes. I'M not sure Cory has been raced at Las Vegas before, but he has won a club race on the EBR 1190RS at Homestead ,so he should be used to the bike, and was over 2.5 seconds off the pace yesterday.

I don't recall Cory ever racing at Las Vegas, but he did work for Roadracing World a few years ago and did some magazine bike tests and may have ridden there.

Dustin must have had some problem during the race since he was a DNF.

I will give Cory a call this I evening after today's races and get a report.

55 degree's is warm to me here in Wisconsin but if your from the South thats down right cold. Track suface would be slightly greasy with those temps.

I just talked to Cory and he was happy with the progress they made with bike set up over the weekend. They did not have the whole electronics package on the bike yet, so no traction control, that comes later.

The weather conditions were not the best to let it all hang out, as Joey P found out on his Triumph that he was determined to break track records with. He wadded it.

BTW his 675 was not even Daytona Sporttbike legal. It was the team owners personal bike with special wheels and who knows what other mods. On the tight 1.8 mile track it had an advantage over the big bikes.

Kinda what I thought Hank. Kinda cool temps make for a greasy track and cold tires.
