Race Weekends in New Jersey can be weather-bitten in September, this one was on the cusp of just that!

Friday was humid and warm but this didn't affect the Practice/Qualifying sessions as Geoff
had a time of 1:22.137 and Danny a 1:22.421. This placed Geoff in 4th and Danny in 8th.
Saturday Qualifying saw Geoff reeling off a 1:21.770 ,however a few frontrunners also found
some speed so this put Geoff in fourth just 8 tenths out of Third.
Danny didn't find anything on Saturday so stayed in 8th.

Full Crew warmup!

The Logo represents Geoffs(and Partners)
new entity "AMERICAN RACER"(COPYRIGHTED).
with racers Jake Holden and Elena Myers on board
and some great new products availiable I see this
as a brilliant idea and I look forward to how
this develops!

And giving away Free Headwear to some younger fans!

And Danny, definitely NOT thinking Headware...probably more like "tire wear"!

As a guick asides,This is the inimitable and deeply talented Doug Henry joking with Brad Scott
whom is one of the owners of this incredible venue "New Jersey Motorsports Park".
This shot was taken at the Saturday night celebration occuring at the onsite restaurant "The Finish Line".
These great folks put on a heck of a celebration with contests, food and drink specials and a truly talented band "Fame and Fortune".
Truly Epic!

Let's just call him "Magnetic Dan"!

Geoff, merging towards his "Day" job...Go get'um Geoff!

Stick around for the fun, for the next Race will be a "First-timer" in Homestead, Florida!

great shots, ebear - thx for sharing

I'm VERY curious the hear a detailed explanation of how 99 was able to stick with the GSXRs & R1 on his humble EBR during both races -

& even challenge for P2!

Hat's off to Geoff (hope he is well) for putting EBR1190 #99 up to 3rd on day 2 at NJ. The "ON The Lens" TV time and talk-up was exceptional and even in the midst of adversity Geoff carried the day with more contact with the viewers, than the ground. A New York Ad agency could not ask more of a third position.

There is no time for thoughts of woe, he has set a mark in the annals of motorcycle racedom that those behind him could not assail. Erik, Geoff, Danny and team will brush it off, study up and God I can not wait until Homestead!

Well put George! Geoff commented last night that he had "a few bumps and bruises but was OK " From where I was shooting Geoff was having a podium run going until he was punted,or "assailed" off the track.
Such a shame, but like you commented the team will brush it off and they'll race another day. Will we be seeing you at the races in Homestead? Love to see that 441....I mean 600 Victor of yours!

Ebear, I would like to be there but have other plans. I believe EBR knows I am rooting for them. I would really like to see a single (vertical) cylinder old style like the Victor with a carbon frame. This one (if I uploaded the pic correctly) is over 32 hp and weighs in about 290 pounds. Maybe Erik will do something in aluminum again someday. Great pictures of the Hero team.
