4.243 330ft
6.449 @ 111.08 eighth
8.387 1000ft
10.059 @ 133.52 pass

Ridden to track , FULL street trim sitting at 62" Barkers slip-on , off the shelf E BR ecm stock air cleaner stock shock air shift. Not bad for a big rider on a grocery getter lol
217 lbs suited
4 mph headwind
I guess with Joe (littlebutquick) that would be a 9.5 pass : )
Have 3 more possible chances to go 9s
Thanks , Puzzled and Mike1125r !

Thanks Mike and Joe. Not many members of that club - only 3 of you , including the Frenchman. Anyone know how Puzzled is running with his bars?

That's damn good on a street bike,excellant 60'.
Couldn't get mine to launch standard, just kept going vertical, made me laugh a lot but not conducive to running good times.
Only had 5 passes before i decided that it needed a stretch.

Amazingly similar splits Bott.
60ft 1.619... best of 1.585
330 4.240
660 6.451 @ 109.82
990 8.345
1320 10.076 @ 134.03

I'm 66inch running 16/49 gearing snicking 5th just before the line, looking at getting a 15tooth front made.see whether using all 6 is better than using 4 and a bit??

Good info... I'm running 17/50 and hitting 5th at the same spot. I can stretch 4th through the traps - but the et/mph falls off. Was thinking of trying a 16 front but it looks like a 16 is also going to need more in the rear-also. Maybe 16/54 ¿
Had to laugh , mine absolutely STANDS UP if I am too aggressive on launch too. It sure feels a lot more hairy riding out a wheelie on a stretched bike : )

I tried to run through in 4th but she hits the limiter.which wrecks the pass.doh!
Would like to be able to run just a few more rpm.
I'm surprised you're so similar with a 17front...I tried to get a 50 rear but couldn't get one at short notice. I'm running a fireblade rear wheel.I'm shifting at 10,000. but not sure that is best from 1st to 2nd. As I get more used to it,I'll be able to see more of what's going on during the pass, at the moment it's all a little hectic.

I'm starting to enjoy the wheelies, she runs good and straight so no real worries(this weekend at least-last weekend at santapod was spinning up real bad)

What I am finding is that as soon as I roll on to wot it lifts the front,so tried leaving with more throttle to start with, but this resulted in slower 60's,almost as though more throttle to start with was upsetting the motor. Less to start then roll on seems to give the best results.

Interesting to read each of your notes. I'm done for the season(my first) but I have been thinking back over it quite a bit. I agree that the sweet spot on shifting seems to be around 10K. My elevation is over a mile high, so the corrected elevation is even higher most evenings. I've never been able to get the engine up to 10K in time to shift up into fifth, when I have made the shift it really slowed me down.

It seems like most of my work needs to be on my launch. Most of the time I would try to hold the engine around 6K during staging and feather the clutch. Sometimes I could get the right balance and not lift the front end too much. Other times it came up so fast I had to get out of the throttle completely and let it settle down. I'm still all stock so I may go to using a wheelie bar to let me get more aggressive on launch. I've ruled out a longer swing arm since this bike is my daily rider, too. If I had the money I would buy up an '08 to dedicate to only racing. I agree that 1st to 2nd shifting should be lower than 10K, I probably end up shifting between 8K and 9K, though I rarely notice because my attention is so focused elsewhere. Which reminds me, the other mod I think would help my launches is having an air shifter. The need to adjust my riding posture from starting out leaned over and legs stretched back, to the up right, legs on pegs for shifting causes a bit of a slow down, too.

Blue if you get to 10,000 in 4th you'll be flying..standard gearing gets you 134mph.

Little Joe took his cr out this saturday and ran as good a 60 as me and Bott manage on stretched bikes. All down to technique and Joe's got 1700 track miles on his R to refine his.
I prefer to ping the clutch out then roll the throttle on, maybe a bit easier on the clutch than slipping it out. But as soon as i go wide open it wants to lift.

I rode 5 passes standard and the pegs were killers! was getting cramps by the 1/8th after having to snatch my legs up so far so quick. I hated it. Got lovely low pegs now.

as far as stretch and being a daily rider,I was in the fire up road next to blackbird and it was the same length as mine!!! Or what about a chain conversion and bolt on extensions???

Been going over the weekends runs.

To run the 134 terminals I must be taking 6th just before the finish.

When running 10.2 and high teens at 130ish it was 5th just before line.

If I can improve 60's might have to go down a bit on the rear?

But 134 and 10.0s just doesn't seem quite right,we see 9.50 bikes running 135ish where are we losing out??? what are we doing wrong.
Brilliant that we have such similar times, with different set ups.We must both have similar performing motors.
I've got TM stage 1,torque hammer and stacks plus a few pounds.
I'll weigh myself later with all my gear.

Hey Joe - you are lighter than Schnitz ! Maybe you could go 6.8 on that bike....
I really thought Jeremy Teasly was going to go 6s first, but congrats to Mr Schnitz...
I have a feeling we will be seeing some big names working with 1190s when the affordable models come out. : )

We HAD a track rental tomorrow -but it will be rained out.
The rentals are generally 6 hours long and limited to 80 vehicles. I've had friends make 35 passes in a day during a rental : )
Hoping we will be rescheduled very soon , my chances at the 9s are closing fast...the track shuts down completely at the end of this month-
