Bring the vintage bikes and the modern vtwins up to Road America for some racing action! if you're not racing then come up and sight see, volunteer for pit duty or just have a great time outdoors! Pat Mooney and i will both be riding 1125r's in Battle of Twins formula 1 and Sound of Thunder. Wes Orloff i am sure will be riding in vintage heavyweight and possibly in BOT formula 2. see ya there!

Looking forward to it! AHRMA takes post entries too, so anyone wanting to enter at the last minute can. Weather looks nice for Saturday and Sunday. Let's get some more Buell's out there.
Pat Mooney.

Yes I really do want to, couldnt make it to the AMA weekend...

Sweet! So my CCS license will work, tried signing up via website but it says registration not open.... Not following the schedule is everyone on the track for practice 1 hour only???? I only have a couple laps in at RA... Friday is practice but would be a travel day for me.

Practice on race days is usually divided up into 4 or 5 groups, minimum of two sessions. All the BOT, SOS, modern stuff practices together.

I've got 3 vintage rides lined up (Hond sportsman 350, honda 500 premeire, and moto guzzi heavyweight superbike) I wasn't planning on riding a Buell as all my spare time has gone to the XR, but i just saw the pre-entry list for F2...dave rosno on Big al's kawi, Ed Key, etc, etc.....that will be a killer race. I will probably bring the F2 XB12 and try to get it prepped for sunday. I was talking to Bilansky and he said he might come out on a DSB 1125 as well.....that will be a good race for pat and smoke! There will be no shortage of fast guys...

had a good time in cold, wet and misty conditions saturday that mostly cleared by race time. Sunday was relatively beautiful! Pat took 1st in BOT F1 and Sound of Thunder both days while i took 3rd in all 4 races. Local Aprilia rider Todd Murray rode hard and took 2nd all 4 times. Wes won at least one race as well. i was sitting in my paddock spot and an RR1000 rode by. TOO COOL! THERE IS A LINE OF 1190'S being assembled in East Troy! (by hand)

Had a fun time at Rd America, I love that place! Young Todd on the Aprilia made me work for the win's too. Thanks to you Smoke for the rear tyre change, that place was hard on the rear tyre. Can't wait till next year now.
