Got my shift light hooked up. it's amazing how easy something is when you're not 10 or 12 Bud Lights into the evening.

But, the way I read the instructions, the Dynatek with all buttons down is supposed to light at 4000 rpm and then go up from there as you flip buttons up. Mine is coming on at 2000 rpm with all buttons down.

And I've got it wire into the Tach wire coming off the ECM. Not a coil.

Any ideas?

the ppr is half on buell so 2 pulses per crank revolution this might be why. my shift light you have to half the input like 5000rpm to shift at 10000 rpm this might be why

Sounds like an inline 4 shift minder. No big deal, as Joe said a little math and your on your way.
