I see them for the ignition, and I see them air activated, what the heck is the difference? I know the ignition ones kill the ignition for just a bit. how do the air activated ones kill your engine so you can shift?

The air ones are activated the same way you activate your shift cylinder only your line to the engine kill is 6 inches longer than the one going to the cylinder. It is wired to your coil. Depending on if your running a two step and have a clutch lever you have several different ways to wire it it comes with a scematic if not I can send you one to give you an idea.

The electric engine kill (I highly recommend, the best thing I ever did for my transmission) wires through your button on your switch and then thru you ignition and then to a relay then to your hot on your coil.

All this can also depend on what other components your running. I have schematics from all my wiring and form the manufactuer components I can send you if you want. With you running the 1125R im not sure if my application would be the same but it should be.

After reading all this before posting I realized it didn't make a lot of sense, so I will try and give you something better tomorrow.

As Williep13 said the electric kill is the way to go. The air kills work however they are depending on a }line length difference.

IF YOU RUN THE PROGRAMMABLE Erik Buell Racing ECM THAT HAS KILL TIME IN IT THAT YOU CAN CHANGE IN EACH GEAR IF YOU WANT I USE IT. IT IS TRIGGERED VIA MY QUICK SHIFTER I JUST USE THE AIR SHIFTER TO SHIFT THE GEAR NEVER MISSED A SHIFT YET

You would need the adjustable ECM to make such changes. As an example I use the adjustable ECM as a two stage rev limiter. It can be used to activate Nitrous also.

The 1125R is foreign to me so you may want advice from some one else.

Littlebutquick seems to have his moving down the track you may want to take his advice on it. But the air kill for airshifter is a cheap solution but hard on the tranny.
