Need some help!!! Two and a half years ago had some minor engine work done.Motor builder informed me I needed the factory tuning disk and cable. I paid $775.00 for a new programmable ECM disk cable and COM box.Do not believe any tuning was done because the bike has never run correctly since. I know the TPS needs to be reset and another badweb member sent me the procedure , explained it very clearly . The problem is I cannot get the connection between bike ECM and computer to work. Always say "connection failure or Com port error".I cannot configure the com port any way I try. I have tried with three different computers. My one computer with Vista operating system says it cannot find the "Drivers" to connect.I have E-mailed Erik Buell Racing tech but no answers. I bought the disk kit from the race dept. back when HD still owned Buell. The only thing I can do now is probably go to the local Harley shop to have them do the TPS reset and probably have to pay 100.00 or more. Have a race comming up on March 12 th. Any ideas? Appreciate any help. I live in N.E. Fl. Do not know any Buell specialist other than a dealership.

contact Erik Buell Racing... They will walk you through it.

Make sure you have the combox driver and cable driver installed in the computer. If its there check in the device manager to see if its not disabled. If so enable it and all will be fine again.

If your on vista well Upgrade to win seven. In vista you can install the PCM to run in XP mode under the profile tab. That clears up some issues as well with most programs in vista.

Hope it helped and didnt confuse you more.
