Mike1125R brought up an idea for an 1125 sidewinder drag race exhaust. As we all know these bikes were purpose built to road race so the drag race parts are lacking a little. This leaves us to come up with our own as we go along. I have no doubt Mike can build his own exhaust, I on the other hand simply don't have the time. So I contacted Tim from Barkers and asked him about building a Sidewinder piipe. He has no problem building one and wanted to know if there would be any interest in these. So I'm tossing it out there.... I'll get with Tim to discuss this some more if the thread shows some interest.

Puzzled,

Will there be a dyno run with a current setup of the Bike of Mike and with the new exhaust for comparission, then we know what to deside for?. Now it is difficult to understand the gains or loses in power, so whatever i tell, it doenst make sense..

That would be a question to ask Mike1125R. He appears to be a very thorough person so I'd imagine he'll know what he gains or looses.

Dris I'm a simple guy as well. We can race dyno's all day and the numbers don't always add up from the U.S to the UK.I assure you anything I put on my bike will be a gain not a loss. I compliment your 1125r effort you are dedicated at what you do. So taking all this energy talking you could be making Joe his sidewinder or whatever design you feel is needed for his application. I've always sensed you were not so fond of Erik Buell Racing products. With me Its all about who gets to the end of the 1/4 first. My bike has run the best et 9.36 Erik Buell Racing pipe , tune up , NO VELOCITY STACKS Cant deny the Erik Buell Racing products work? Racing dynos will only get you so far down the track. I do have something in the works in the early stages no info to disclose at this time. Coming soon!

Mike1125r

Correction, I love EB and and Erik Buell Racing products, So you make up your own stories please and don't spread lies around here please.

The only thing i like to know, is the difference in your current HP and the version with the new pipe. That's IT.

And if you don't want to post it just say that...

Life is simple keep it that way.

I've been reading these posts over time and I was getting that impression. Excuse me for that, wasn't trying to get that statement out to people. There will be results just not ready at this time.
