I tried, wouldn't take my money...since I didn't race any other WERA events this year. I understand the whole invitation process for the GNF, but man, in these tough economic times and with small grids, I expected them to make an exception.....NOT! Not going to the CCS ROC so I guess my season is over. GOOD LUCK Tim, have fun and be safe.

didn't do well at the GNF! made 1 practice and swapped tires for the AM HVWT twin SS race on Friday. on the out lap the brake lever came back to my fingers. got a bad start thinking about it and by lap 2 all was fine. put on a charge but came up short of 3rd by .02. reinstalled the slipper clutch and radial master that evening for the Saturday AM SB race. practice was good and i had a back to back A SS followed by the HVWT Twins Superbike. got a good start from the 15th position and was trying to move up into the top 5 when i came into turn 3 offline and hit a hole in the dirt which bottomed out the forks and put my butt in the air. i held onto the bars and tried to save it but ended up going down in the grass and tweaking my ankle badly. got out in race 2 starting from pit lane on the backup street bike and managed to pass all the entries in WSS from wave 2 but didn't reach any of the HVWT class. forgot the transponder as well so i took the DQ instead of paying th $100 fine. got my money's worth but went home empty handed. good thing Geoff May won on the Erik Buell Racing 1125R in the expert class!!! CONGRATULATIONS GEOFF!!!
