I figure that the best way to get people fired up for the GP is to post some pictures from last year. The streets in Downtown Indianapolis are closed to all vehicles except motorcycles; and they have a big party.     The Incredible Indianapolis Motor Speedway. I've been to Daytona several times over the years, and thought it was as good as it gets. Indy is a whole order of magnitude above that. I have never been so impressed with any racing facility. It is the World Center of Speed.           We didn't take too many pictures at the Mile, but here are a few       Parking at the front entrance of the Crowne Plaza Hotel  A couple of shots from the Moto GP race   And, of course, my favorite T-shirt of the event (unfortunately, they weren't for sale)  Now, I really hope we can make it this year! | ||

Gotcha, gotcha. Motorcycles on Meridian: August 27 and 28th Starts 7:00 P.M. They will be closing Meridian all the way from the Circle to South street this year for parking, along with the spokes off those streets. | ||

I will be there. Bike in truck because my son will also be with me. Anyone going in with a general admission ticket? I need to walk in with someone who has one so I dont have to pay full price for a 3 year old. With Gen.
