What a great weekend for racing . The weather was great And tim and Nike had a garage to work out of. The grandstand design bikes made buell riders proud, and Robert P did a excellent job carrying the buell flag as well. My yamaha made the weekend very easy to have a blast, I hope that anyone who was there had a great time and go buell

Good to hear some positives from the event.

The CCS boards are a bit less happy with the some of the hapenings during the event.

Glad it worked out for GSD.

Some recaps are the friday night before one bike (xb12) didnt have a ecm. All they could find was a xb9 2003 version. cb060 ecm. well after a phone call and a file transfer I had manually convert the ecm to a xb12 ecm. an Hr later the file in in his email. Ready for the bike. there is a lot more than fuel and timing changes to switch a old xb9 ecm to a race ecm formula for an xb12. bike one fixed.

next (Sat afternoon late) Pete's bike was running really hot and not working after two laps. It literally would sputter out on throttle above 4500Rpm and 80% tps.(factory race ecm settings) Another life line call I received late saturday on how to possibly fix it.
Had him email me the file from that ecm just like before and go buy different fuel. I ran it through the bridge and Tpro to remove the flags and tps deg temp limits and well as rpm zones for all temps and ect. I moved the revs and changed timing (less is more IMO)to match what I did to the other xb and fuel. bike two fixed. total cost Zero... well beside worry and headache on his part.

both files were converted using tunerpro then switched into a ecmspy formula so he could load to the bikes.

It shows the power Of Ecmspy,Ecmread, Tunerpro and Bridge. This combo allows setting changes that no other tool offers. These guys would have been not racing with out this combo and some knowing the ecm layouts.

next they will match the fuel better to the bikes since the maps are made to my bike built the same way internally. The fuel will be ok but not its best when made on a different bike somewhere else.

Pete can fill you in on the details on how it ran before to after. converting xb9 ecm from a cb060 layout to a custom cb060 XB12 one of a kind ecm sure is tedious.

congrats GSD Job well done...
