WERA has released the 2010 race schedule and elected to drop the North Florida Series. I am sure it was an economic decision on their part.

Based on that and my own economic situation, it is not likely that I will be racing next year. Bummer.....

Darn. You are correct. My Racing partner & I were considering WERA Vintage for the XBRR. Jennings shows LOTS of Track Days....Track Days SUCK. Guess we shall go to Plan B- show up at Swap Meets with the MUELL, drink Beer & tell lies.......

Track Days SUCK.

Whoa there, partner... I'll take a track day at Jennings over any day riding on the street... in Florida. The only street riding that comes close to a track day is riding in the mountains- but even then it's much safer at the track. I'm taking the XB12R to Jennings on Monday.

It does suck about WERA North Florida Series, though.

Track days don't suck... But... Once you have gone handle bar to handle bar from a standng start and tasted the glory of winning, a track day just doesn't compare.

I just did a track day and it actually felt kind of weird. While happy to be at the track, I felt no sense of urgency. There was no competitive smell in the air. It just felt... different.

That being said, I will probably do a few track days next year, if nothing else so I can get my speed fix!

SORRY I was SO HARSH about Track Days....personal opinion. There was not such fluffiness "back in The Day". My few encounters in this Track Day event showed too many novices who believe they are Racers. Would rather stay retired than mess with that group; too many wannabees that do not progress to actual Racing.
