hey everyone i got an 03 xb 9 and looking to get into racing in the mass area any one have any advice on where to go , how to get license im looking to get started for the 010 season any help will be appriceiated.

so you can get your lisence through them wat are my options for racing what class is available to some one who has never raced?

That's something I can not answer as I'm not doing it yet. Assuming you pass their course I would think you can get into open class, just watch out for the liter class Japanese bikes. I'm sure if you contact Penguin they can help you out with the questions and bike prep. You might want to get your reservation in for the Homestead Florida school if you want to make a full season. Wish I had the time and money for that school, would be nice to get out of the snow for a week or so.

After you get your race license, you need to determine which organization you want to race with. CCS or WERA are 2 of the biggest club level orgs. Your bike will fit into many different classes. Regardless you will want to avoid the liter bike classes for obvious reasons.

With the XB9, you will be in the lightweight classes. Lightweight Super Sport, Lightweight Superbike, GT Lights, Lightweight GP, and Thunderbike. These are CCS classes. In the New England, the Loudon Road Race Series is what you will be riding. It is a CCS sanctioned series.
