Good news Tim and Rocco. Way to go....hope to see more Buells at the WERA races in 2010. I know of at least two WERA racers that just bought 1125r's at a SMOKEN...deal. Think Mike Hardy at Traxxion D' and even Laffoon #135 is thinking about buying one too.

I'm making plans to race WERA but not sure about Nationals or S.E sportsman. I'd like to race at least 2-3 CCS events as well.

Tried the CCS / Barber event this year but my race funds were to low but practice was still fun.

Speaking of next year, sounds like I'll be finally getting my chance to race with a 1125R.

Started training yesterday

I was looking at the CCS Southeast Series next year. However, the end of Buell has effectively eliminated most of my potential sponsors. Plus no more Buell contingency $$$ to help offset the costs.

About all I can afford right now is one race and it will probably be Daytona.

I'll continue racing my XB in CCS MidWest and Great Plains next year. The bike has much more in it than I'm able to get out of it!

I probably won't race Thunderbike anymore since the bike is WAY out horsepowered in that class and there will be no Buell contingency, not like I ever saw any of it! I really enjoy racing and hanging out with all the great folks I've met these past three years so what would I do if I didn't race?

Oh yeah, paint the house...

I will be racing my XB9R and my 1125R that I spent my savings on the race parts . I have spent alot of time and $ so even though no contingency I will be racing CCS southeast and WERA. I am not very fast but I live to race. It is my motivation to get up for work everyday. See Ya`ll at the tracks. I will race my Buells until I can no longer get the parts.

I hope to race my XB12 next season in MW CCS. My wife lost her job a few months back so I'm not sure. Kind of on hold for now. Hopefully I won't have to sell my bike later on.

Well I will hopefully be racing an 1125R in Wera Northcentral next year, but the new news that the racing parts are no longer available really puts a kink in my plans.

How competitive is this bike bone stock? What are its real weak links? If I spring the suspension for my weight does it work fairly well at race pace? Does the belt drive really hinder you that much? Or am I spinning my wheels trying to be competitive on this thing if I can't do the swinger conversion and suspension upgrades.

Thanks!
