Court posted elsewhere about how big this is and I concur. After decades of almost being there, of bikes that would blow up after one lap or slam Erik to the ground breaking ribs, legs, collar bones, what ever else you can imagine, after years with two hours sleep a night, years when a good meal was mac and cheese without extra water to stretch it, heartbreak and hard time emotionally and financially finally VICTORY!!

As many of you know I go way back with Erik. I am not now involved in the company in any way BUT I am simply overcome with emotion about this. Man-o-man does this guy deserve it. I can't even begin to imagine how he is feeling.

Congratulations to Erik, and Kim and Henry and Steve, and Dan and Tom and oh there are too many to list and some that I will forget, but to all you have worked so hard and sacrificed so much I have to say thanks and I love you guys!!! May this be only the beginning.

Dave, I love seeing your comments on here and it is nice to see the "Old Guard" is still around to see the fruits of all the labor from the early years.

I sent Erik an e-mail of congrats - he personally responded. Some things never change, and that's great.

Cheers to everyone who believed in Buell before it was cool to do so. From the Tubers to the Blast to the XB, and now on to the 1125R series. Congrats to all of us for sticking in there, and being a little different.

Dave, what a great post. I only know the history of Danny ( he is my cousin). I know how hard he has worked over the years to finally get a shot. Thanks to the hard work that Erik and his crew, both past and present, Danny got his dream realized. I know the life of the mac and cheese. For me it was driving to the next track eating ham and swiss with a little 10w40 mixed in. Oh man, those were some of the hardest days, but also the most fun. Erik, congrats on taking down the giants. You and your crew are truly an inspiration to all of us that try to do it our own way.
