I'll be there Saturday and Sunday. Anyone have any ideas of where to stay (Wife and 2yr old son will be with me)? Also, what type of ticket should I buy to gain access to garage and pit areas? |

Hey , I'm going to be at Jersey for this race and I'm surprised at how expensive everything is. If there are any Badwebbers thinking on going and would like to share costs could you email me? I found a room near the Jersey shore for 4 nights..(thurs.,Fri.,Sat and Sunday night.I am looking to rent a car but after paying $20.00 a day in Ohio this $40.00 a day plus is ridiculous.Maybe cause it's out of Philly Airport?Do we have any badwebbers around there with a line on cheaper rates? Email me if anyone has ideas....thanks! |

Ebear and anyone else coming to NJ If it is not too late, stay away from the Jersey shore if cost is a concern. Labor day weekend is the busiest week down the shore. Even the Millville hotels should be cheaper than the shore. I would try finding a hotel near Vineland, NJ. Should be close enough to the track but far enough that you are not paying race pricing. IF you do stay at the shore, you should allow some time on the beach and in the water. Although crowded, the Jersey Shore is really nice. As far as rental cars, can't help you there. Seems like all of the rental car companies are about the same. For flights, You may find better pricing flying to Atlantic City especially if you live in Florida or fly thru Atlanta. Newark NJ may be another airport option. JFK and Laguardia would be too far. |

I would stay away from Millville and Vineland hotels as It is kindof in the ghetto. Look around the Medford area for accomodations. Only a half hour away and much nicer. Its not like Newark or Camden but if you read reviews of the hotels in these areas you will see what I mean. One said that all they heard all night was police sirens and another had people outside the room all night long into the am being loud. Thats Jersey though. |

Exit 4 on the NJ turnpike in mount laurel, on RT73, plenty of places to eat, shop and sleep, continue down 73 south and there are more places thru marlton and berlin. It would be about an 45min north of millville. |

Superlodge Atlantic City in Absecon,New Jersey.....anyone heard of this place? Like Joseph said.....the reviews of local hotels around Millville were some of the worst I've ever seen.....and I've stayed in alot of semi-fleabag hotels before! Noise,rudeness,gunshots.....I tend to avoid places with those kinda reviews.... |

Interesting name just popped up on the roster for New Jersey . . . on an interesting team. . . . just saying. (don't make me do all your homework for you . . . that would take some of the fun out of it) |

So its not a factory team but he is sponsored by BMC? Sure wish Buell would give Shawn some factory sponsorship! |

EDIT: I see what you're saying now. Erik Buell is the race team, but BMC is listed as a sponsor. Sure sounds like a factory team. I'm guessing the surprise is that Erik will likely be at the event. (Message edited by xl1200r on August 13, 2009) |

That's going to be interesting. NOT a "Factory" team, but I'm going to guess that they are going to field a bike with all over the counter (for racers) parts, and show it can be done. Hopefully well! Great marketing move. R |

I almost responded but thought better of it. Glad you see what I see now. If Buell is giving out sponsorship, I would like to see them give it to a guy who has been fielding the Buell in Superbike all season. He deserves a 1125rr!!! |

It's NOT a factory team . . . . it's ERIK BUELL RACING. Just noticed, this team is sponsored by Buell Motorcycle Company. What's the difference between a "factory" team, and being sponsored by the manufacturer? R |

>>>Sure wish Buell would give Shawn some factory sponsorship! If Steve Slaughter bought an 1125RR for $39,995 and Buell gave him, like they do Shawn and many racers, some support and he listed BUELL MOTORCYCLE COMPANY as a sponsor . . . . would he be a "factory" team? Shawn gets LOTS of support from Buell (Erik and the company). (Message edited by court on August 13, 2009) |
