there is a coding there but i didnt figure it out or i would sure tell you how to do it.

the coding may be useless data lines not used. which there are a lot of these.

there is a new electronic rpm shifter/gear indicator.

hook this to the bike for leaving the line set the rpm. it has a coil interupt then twist and it fires the shifter be it electric or elec/air.

you set the rpm to shift per gear.

i dont have it but i know a guy who does. he is getting me part numbers.

thats all i know.

it doesnt use ecmspy.

The BAS is usually how the electric shifters are wired into the system.

In the new DDFI 3 Race ECM, you can set the interrupt directly.

yeah what (slaughter said)
they go into the bas.

just like you can apply a map sensor if you enable map pressure.

its not that hard to do a lot of things once you track them down and do a few test.

so how are you guys mounting the shift unit,one-off brackets? any pics? I have a Pingel up/down Electric unit for an XB, but its far too big to really bother with on my R.Thinking of selling it and buying a Quick Shift, but can't find a unit "pre-made" for an R either. Thanks for any help.

I will shoot some pics this weekend of the Q-shifter for you. I will post pics up when we return from Summit Point, WV

(no bracket...easy install as far as part goes...but you do have to wire it in)

Thank you,Sir. This is REALLY important stuff to me personally for 2 reasons.
1. I have a common handicap after having several spinal surgeries. My left foot flops in the wind, from nerve damage. I have to wear,at all times, a large brace (read artificial ankle) and I cant really describe how I manage to upshift-its more of a lever action by pushing back my calf in order to raise my toes.
2. and more importantly LoL, I live about 8 miles from an NHRA Dragstrip, and I WANNA GO RACING!
