It's up on RRW as well. Slick was 8th and Barney was 23rd.

Slaughter had a lucid moment there. He noticed that the practice results were from Barber and the thread subject says Infineon.

Hmm, Danny down two seconds on DiSalvo...that's a lot. Sure hope they find some additional speed during practice.

It shows Eslick crashed during qualifying. I hope he is okay.

. . . and just when you thought it was impossible for Superbikeplanet to be any less classy, they tout it as an "Eslick free" superpole after he crashed out.

Yep, that's pretty low class of Superbike Planet. You know that best way to deal with that don't you? : )

Where did you read Danny crashed? I saw two different qualifying times and they were both very similar. I don't think that would be the case if he crashed once....would it?

This is probably the tightest course they've run on so far this year...just may not be the best track for the Buell to show it's strength. Still, I hope he pulls it out.

Yep - Infineon is a few weeks away yet...

I'll watch the results at BARBER but I'll take whatever predictions you might have for Infineon (title of thread).

Remember Road Atlanta, Danny was significantly off the pace until Saturday morning practice. Let's hope for a repeat.

That's about the lowest thing I've seen and I am ashamed of these folks and how they represent our sport.

That, on the "class continuum" would be right there with pimping your sister.

What a disappointment.

I'm hoping Danny is just fine and wishing him the best of luck.

Elvis, Court,

Before you place too much importance on the opinions of Superbike Planet, take a look at their reader base. http://www.quantcast.com/superbikeplanet.com. Might explain a few things.....

Here's why Superbike Planet kisses the big 4 butts.

"Honda sponsors the Birmingham race. The Big Four Japanese manufacturers make it more viable for the tracks to hold events."

Look at it like this, we need to be nice to the Superbike Planet readers. Why? If we are, when they get old enough to make decisions for themselves.....and maybe get a driver's license, maybe they will remember how kind the Badwebbers were to them. Superbike planet is a kiddie forum.

It is a kiddie forum but there is no excuse for that kind of poor form. By the age of 2 my sons had better manners.

Court,

You are on the money. When I first saw their cheap-shot anti-Buell surveys, I was really surprised. No, I was flabbergasted at how nasty they were. But look at it this way, America has nearly 300 million people. Superbike Planet has about 8000 regular readers. There are more people in American than that who believe the Earth is flat. By their demographics, a significant number of them aren't even old enough to drive. That leaves an editorial staff with no limit to how low they will stoop. In the sixties, they would have been burning their draft cards and bad-mouthing their country. The best we can do for them is to ignore them. I don't care what their opinions are, whether Ouiji Boards or motorcycles. With both, they have about the same amount of credibility.
