Anyone know what's going on? I don't think Crevier or the Buell were participating in the recent tire tests at Jennings. After last year's encouraging results, I would hope they would follow up.

Last I heard Ruthless Racing was in a rebuilding period, They did away with the Canadian Thunder class, the team moved to a new shop and ????

Also not to be underestimated is six-time Superbike champion Crevier. The venerable 43-year-old from Maple Ridge, B.C. was the sensation of Calabogie last May when he finished third in the debut of his Buell 1125R Superbike. Crevier returns with the bike, and the Deeley Racing powered by Buell factory team is hoping to unlock more magic this weekend.

I think you mean "yeah", not "ya"- unless you don't like Crevier, or Elvis.

I'm going to assume it's a "yeah".

Live timing here:

Promising start:

http://www.cdnsuperbike.com/index.php?option=com_c ontent&task=view&id=1385&Itemid=240

He's off Szoke's pace by a good bit, but as you can see here:

http://roadracingworld.com/news/article/?article=3 6624

He had a mechanical problem and didn't finish the practice session.

Last year, as I remember, his practice times were generally down around 10th place, but he was often able to do some amazing things when the flag dropped.

I think these practice results may hint that he'll be a more serious contender for some podiums rather than being content with a solid 7th or 8th place.

Interesting that Darren James and Dave Estok are also running the Superbike class.

Stay tuned, this could get good . . .

In this afternoon's practice, Crevier came in 7th, Estok was 9th and James was 16th . . . so all three Buells were in the top half of the field (there were 32 bikes running plus three that didn't have any times).

I'm guessing they've closed the power gap some between the Buell and the top bikes.

Crevier's running a solid 4th in this morning's practice.

Last race, Estock and James practiced in Superbike but didn't run. I don't know why not. It looks like they're competive in the class. Hopefully they'll race Superbike this weekend.
