All of this snow has me thinking of the salt flats. Long straight roads that are white kind of makes me want to top out my car.

Anyway, I have been rebuilding my 100" down to replacing the crankpin and rods. The heads are still being rebuilt with new seats and guides, but the rest of the engine is back together and back in the chassis. I want to get the 1650cc bike back together so I can really get to work on the new 3000cc S2.

My plan is to run 1650cc at Maxton a couple of times and have the 3000cc bike ready for Bonneville in the fall.

What's everyone else up to?

Jeff

I got the Sportster tore down to get rid of the wet sumping problem. Hoping to go to the Bub meet again this year provided I don't get laid off for too long.

Mine is at fabricators getting new oil tank, crank trigger, and a couple other things done.Next is wiring harness, then trying to get a spark and fuel.
I was definitely spurred on by the visit from my Aussie friends and the 7 runs I made over 200 mph on their bike!!!
