I purchased my friend, Greg Holman's, race bike from his estate today. Greg was killed this past summer in an accident on his street bike. I don't plan on changing the bike too much and plan on running numbers using 831, just not in that order, because as my Wife said, "that was HIS number".   | ||

thanks guys. It seemed weird when we got the bike home. Kinda made us all remember how much we miss Greg. Dana, Greg's girlfriend of 15 plus years, so you may as well say his Wife, and my Wife both agreed that Greg would have been happy with me purchasing the bike instead of some "knucklehead" as Greg probably would have said. Jason, I hope you do pit next to me next year. I know Greg said he met you at a Friday Test and Tune. May sound corny, but I know Greg will be riding with me. Thinking #381 as my number is 38. We'll see if someone has it or not first. | ||

You could do 138. That would be 831 backwards, and still incorporate your number. It's good to see that you are going to use this bike the way the previous owner intended. | ||

As Rocco knows, I couldn't be happier about this. I was so happy when he said he wanted to buy it and that he is still going to race. To me it keeps Greg's spirit racing and that is the BEST tribute to Greg, this is what he would want. Rocco you know he will be there with you.
