Ok, I've done a couple of races with my new to me 12R. I see some are upgrading the previous generation six piston caliper to the new eight piston caliper.

Is there a racing part number for the upgrade? Does anyone have guidance on how it might work in comparison to the six piston model? Pad life, etc?

Thanks!

Sd,

Buell sells it as a kit. It's in the parts catalog on their website. Around $500 for all the parts I believe. Not sure on the life span of the race pads.
