Yep...
That's pretty much how my weekend ended. It too bad because my new Ohlins rear shock felt great before the bracket broke allow the reservoir to wear that nasty groove down the right side of the tire.
Did anyone get a pic of the tire leaving a smokey trail down the front straight?

I didn't and I don't think Tom did either. I didn't get the chance to go through his stuff too much yet but he didn't do anything on the front straight. |

I wasn't there either.. The second day I shot T-1, T-3, T-5 - T-9 almost all of it from the inside (one quick jaunt to the outside for T-8 then back inside.. No main straight or T-10 for me this go around.. Sorry... (although I did hear something about someone smoking and a possible black flag over the scanner) .. |

Ill have to see what I got on video. I was recording during that race and made the rookie mistake of saying o sh*t and putting the camera down and heading for the pits to see what had happened to you. it looked like you had an engine failure but then the smoke blew across the track and I could smell the tire smoke. I was confused but glad it wasn’t oil smoke.

thanks to seth, and the gentleman with the american flag shirt on. my first race ever(spectator) and both of you took time to explain how things worked and where to go to get good views of the track. especially enjoyed the tower at the beginning of the long straight. thanks seth.

Hey Ant, dont you have a 48 hour old Buell racer to be taking care of? Congrats!! and thanks for donating your old belly pan. without it, id never even have passed tech.

I'd like to extend my thanks to all the Buell people at turn ten for making it a great weekend. Looking forward to seeing everyone at or before the racing in July and September.
