could someone tell me if i need to lockwire front and rear axle to pass tech?
if i do i can't figure out how...
also what about exhaust brackets???

what series are you running? I just did the front pinch bolts. I drilled the rear pinch bolt and the rear axle at a really steep angle
in the hex part and wire those 2 together. I run CCS and they never gave me any problems.

Rules vary depending on the organization.

Some make you just wire the pinch bolts, some make you wire BOTH the pinch bolts AND axle.

I should have added that you have to drill across the head of the pinch bolts and wire them together.

IF you have to wire the axle - it's a bit trickier. You have to drill just barely below the outer edge of the axle and then remove just a tiny bit of aluminum from the inside of the casting on the fork end so the wire will clear. Check rules before you do it - again SOME may not require wiring the axle.

Drilling the pinch bolts is a pain. Best to go through both sides but not a requirement, you can just drill a single hole and make it work.
