Respected UK bike journalist Gary Inman (Performance Bikes/Classic Bike) has recently taken the plunge and started a new UK based bike magazine called 'Sideburn' catering for fans of 'turn left' US style Flat Track style racing both here in Europe/UK, and of course of interest to US readers too.

The mag is a full on glossy A5 publication and looks like a good read and a break from the established bike mag format over here.

Flat Track/Short Track racing is growing in popularity over here and the UK Shorttrack series seems to be gowing from strength to strength right now, with a number of 1/4 mile and two 1/2 mile circuits hosting rounds of the UK series in 2008.

Gary has invested a lot of his own time and money in this project and we wish him the best in his new venture.

You can see the new Sideburn web site here: http://www.sideburnmagazine.com/WELCOME%20x.html

They also have some cool T-shirts on the site for sale : )
