Heavyweight - Unlimited Displacement
Middleweight - 650cc 4 cylinders and 750cc twins
lightweight - 400cc 4 cylinders and 650cc twins
Iron Butt - Unlimited Displacement - One Rider, Mandatory Stops

Race is run to see who can complete the most laps in the set amount of time. Pit Stops for fuel and rider changes mandatory. Each class will have a champion crowned. There is no overall endurance champion. All 4 classes run at the same time but are only scored against teams in their same class. See Fasttrax Rule Book for complete details.

Anybody ever do a Iron Butt race?

Looks like it would kill me and the bike but I may need to do 1 or 2 next year...

last fall i did a 30 min mini-endurance race on my 9r at nelson ledges. what a great time! i'd love to do the 3-hr but yeah, it might kill me. maybe on a team..

they let the 9's run in lightweight & the 12's run in middleweight
