How many people on this forum attend track days/race their motorcycles in Wisconsin/Illinois?? Road America, Blackhawk Farms,Ect? | ||

I have done a few track days at Road America, and I started racing my bike in CCS this season also. There are several guys from Wisconsin here that race CCS, hopefully they all chime in!! Schmitty | ||

Rocco, I hope I'm one of the "10"! I've done trackdays and raced at Road America and Blackhawk, just completed my rookie race season yesterday as a matter of fact at MidAmerica in Iowa. Twistad, if you're thinking about trackdays or racing you could'nt ask for a greater group, Buell guys and gals, to get involved with!!  | ||

I have been doing track days for 2 years now, and I would like to get into CCS racing. Since getting out of the Marine Corps in 2006, I have moved to Madison, WI and took at job at Kutter Harley Davidson in Janesville. I would like to petition the boss to start a race/trackday club. This club would encompass all riders but focus on Buells. I would love to see the a trailer at races and track days, which would provide club members pit services such as race fuel and tire changing services. Do you think this club would be something of interest to you>? | ||

Yes. The more exposure Buell and their Dealers get, the better. It would be nice to have a Buell dealer at the races. Even bring some "spare parts" that usually get trashed in a crash. (handle bars, foot pegs, brake and clutch levers, etc) Buell does support the racers with Henry Duga, but that's at the bigger races. It would be nice to have a little support at the Club Level and T.D's. I understand that Henry can't be at every event, so anything extra a dealer is willing to do can only help. Racers with needs and dealer exposure. It's a win win situation. I'm always looking for extra sponsorship!!  | ||

Can I get a list of names of people that would be interested in joining a Buell Track Day/Race Support Club. We would bring a trailer to the track which would have tire changing capabilities, spare parts, and hospitality at a great price. Let me know so we can get this set up for next year. | ||

Anybody who rides Blackhawk Farms and Road America could join. Those are the two tracks we would start with, and then if the services prove valuable, we could move farther away from Janesville, WI. |
