A buddy and mine and I decided to put the debate of which vtwin is faster to the test, so we went to a local track Friday night (its only an 1/8 mile....better for me lol) and it turns out they are a pretty close match up (keep in mind we dont get out to the track very often so the time werent very impressive I think the 60ft times were all in the 1.9 - 2.1 range  . Anyway the first 6 times were all pretty close; Buell - 7.6 @ 97 (best) Honda - 7.9 @ 94 Both on 93 octane till he pours in a bottle of methenol and he busts of a 7.5 @ 108. The RC51 is just an exhaust bike. My Buell has D&D exhaust, air box mod, and a tune uploaded (tuned by Al) Had a freaking blast! Here are a few pics...     | ||

Sounds like a good time. I was really surprised at how much fun I had taking my Cyclone down the drag strip. Way to go in beating what would normally be a faster machine. Score one for Buell!  | ||

I take my daily driver 3 times a month, and its faster than the Buell. The car is down for more go fast parts so I figured what the hell! Lets take the bikes, and it turned out to be a hellofa lot more fun! |
