Congrats to Paul James and Mike Kirkpatrick for a successful weekend at Gateway International in St. Louis - 2 wins and a second place in the wet. It was an honor and a pleasure to meet you guys. Hope to see you at Autobahn. Jessa or Jezza? She rocks. Must have. Mike - thanks for your input on my upcoming Buell purchase regarding setup and track day options. I'm sure that I'll have more questions. Paul - thank you for your patience and time. i hope to have you slow down to about half to quarter speed and show me a line through gateway next year. Either way, I hope to see you guys at Autobahn. And I hope to have a tricked out XB12S and an open slot at Inside Pass to run around and talk to you about it. Good luck at Road America and I'm sorry that I will miss that. Erik Buell - If you are lurking....You need to pay these guys more. Actually you need to pay them. And racing needs to be featured more regularly in Fuell. A third place at Daytona with no clutch in 4th gear on straights and the corners. That's historic. They embody a love of the sport and friendliness to drooling middle aged men like me who overanalyze everything but are drawn to your bikes......who rode from st. louis to chicago to ride a ducati with the full intent of buying a Monster S4RS ( i rented a Harley and took it to Chicago and back).... and will be buying a Buell instead. Thanks for a great product. I'm sorry that I will miss the homecoming and I hope to get the opportunity to speak with you at a future event. | ||
