My wife and I are thinking of coming down to check out the race/support Buell, but we probably won't hang for the whole weekend. Does anyone here have a schedule? Well, I guess more importantly, anyone know what day is the actual race is being held? Anyone else planning on going? |

Hey, thanks, Coolice, I've booked my room, so my wife and I will be there cheering on the Buell teams. If we can get down to the pit area we will, good luck! One thing that concerns me (if anyone knows) is that the race is in the morning, but the tickets are for 6pm. Does that mean if I buy tickets online I won't be able to get in before 6 pm? Dumb question, I know, but I just wanna make sure I catch the race? Anyone know? |

The horsepower of the XBRR is too high to qualify. It would have to be detuned. |

Classes- SST Super Sport Twins-90.1-118hp GST-Grand Sport Twins-75.1-90hp ST-Sport Twins-no more than 75hp This means pre and post race dyno checks. We (Jamesgang Racing) run the RR fairing on our XB12R. The RR is eligible for the SST class. But not the GST class. Next race Road America. |

Am I wrong Mike? Would the RR have to be tamed a little?? I'm not sure what the HP is. Sorry to see you guys ran into some issues. |

It's mentioned in the rulebook as being eligible for the SST Class http://moto-st.com/CONTENT/Docs/MOTO-STEligibleMac hineList.pdf The fact that nobody has entered one yet is a different issue..... |

I would think it would fail the Dyno tests? |

Yes the RR would have to be de-tuned to compete. It is listed as an eligible model for the SST class. We know it did the Daytona 200, maybe someone will enter an RR soon? |

Buell did mention a 'engine modification kit' to make it eligible for more classes when the RR was announced but it has not made it to market yet. (Message edited by josé_quiñones on May 03, 2007) |
