I was checking up on the little guys today and found a newer article I had not read yet...

http://www.delmarvanow.com/worcester/stories/20070 104/2359106.html

"Racing the MRX in Daytona in March will also give the bike and company exposure, he said. This is the first race of the year."

Interesting? Is it even possible for an Hyosung 650 to be punched out to 850cc?

Another interesting article...

This one doesn't mention anything about racing, but does give a pretty in depth riding review.

And our buells race bikes will be there to greet it with open arms. as well as all the other buell teams. needless to say the MRX is a pretty cool looking korean bike that is made in the USA. can't wait to beat up on it.

The article is unclear as to whether they will be racing in the AMA Daytona 200 or the CCS. Either way good luck at Daytona Anthony.

thanks man, most likely will just be running the XBRR and maybe the MOTO ST with my XB12r. the only way the 12R will run in ASRA is if we can't get the RR down to the 1hp per 4lbs limit

JSCOTT nice post, we have been contnually dissapinted in BUELL racing that i would not minf cheering for this fischer bike as long as he can get a good perfromnce. I am a guest to a the unvailing of the ducati 1098, that bike sounds nice but if the fischer does good at daytona i would take that American bike over the italian. Buell get your ass together lets start wiiningand developing a major engine update for the XB. WE NEED IT

Please let's not turn this into another let's bash Buell's racing effort threads.

I was just trying to post some info concerning another possible (not probable) entry into the promising FX class of the AMA.

"Will Jeremy McWilliams be racing Buell this year"

No.

Once he recoops from his terrible
testing crash, he will be piloting the Ilmor in MotoGP.

If you don't mind wading (swimming?) through the petty bickering, the "Buell's 2007 Formula Xtreme effort" thread will give you all the current info concerning Buell's in the AMA for 2007. Good luck.

Competition.

Good ol' American Rivalry!

I can't wait to see a Fischer battle a Buell.
