Finally, some Vrods
The hot setup for the VRod class is to put XB wheels on the bikes, looks cool.
There were plenty of Screaming Eagle Vrods too, some from local MD/VA/PA dealers.

Finally, the rider of this particular Screaming Eagle Vrod Destroyer and our 'host' for this event, one Tripp Nobles, ex AMA Superbike/Formula Extreme/Pro Thunder rider.
Thanks for the invite Tripp! |

Thanks José! Those AHDRA top fuelers are truly something to behold running 6.3's at 220 mph! Wow! |

It's one thing to see it on TV, but to feel it, hear it and smell it (the nitrous until you can't see anymore and you have to cover up your nose) is something entirely different. I can see why so many people are into drag racing. |

For sure. Eyes burning in the combustion remnants of nitro-methane is tough to ignore. "Feel" is the perfect description for what that experience mostly entails. I dig it. |
