Thanks for the pics.... now the anxiousness has really set in. Our riders have been asking quite a bit lately when we are going to hit the track.

You can deliver that one that's "paid in full but you can't remember the buyer" to Arizona...

To return to the original question posed at the beginning of the thread, I think that Buell is on track with its current testing & validation processes. Keep in mind, there are only a few teams currently helping with the development of the XBRR, and from what I can glean from Henry Duga, just about all issues with the prototypes have been addressed and the final versions will be made available shortly. If it were just one team, I do not think the same R&D data would have been captured. Not to mention the diversity of the participating teams (MotoGP, Superstock, Superbike & Thunderbike all combined experience here).

And for those that think the XBRR debut is disappointing so far, lets look at Suzuki's MotoGP effort, not only this season, but from the adoption of the 1000cc 4 strokes from the 500cc 2 strokes! Yes, there are some rider issues, but their slogan is still "Own the racetrack", right? Buell is on track to ensure that the XBRR will be a reliable platform to win races on. I can not wait until ours comes in!

Chris

P.S. - Yes, I agree Blake. "Wacachicawacachica!"

I've been checking in to San Diego HD weekly as they are anxiously awaiting theirs. Supposed to race it next week. IF IT EVER SHOWS UP!

Emphasis placed cuz they had expected it to be here already...

I just want to sit on it and make vroom vroom noises.

Sorry, guys, we had a few issues that needed sorted out, and worse yet, a couple of suppliers that really let us down. But more bikes will be shipping this week.

Someone asked what happened to Ciccotto?? Well he's not a young man anylonger at 38. He is heading for retirement. He moved tp Puerto Rico and is now selling Real Estate. Don't count on seeing to much of him anylonger.

Better to have the bike later, issue free, than sooner with issues I say...

Thanks for the update on Mike. Racing IS a young man's sport, and he had a great run over the years. This guy was one tough customer, as I have seen him get knocked out cold and race in the next race at Daytona. He was one of the best old school Buell racers, along with Shawn Higbee and Michael Barnes, and really knew how to ride one to make them last. He also raced for Hooter's team with Michael Barnes, who tried to retire last year but M4 Suzuki picked him up and since then he has been doing great. Retirement will be a little longer out there for Barney.

Mike always had a big smile for the fans. Good luck selling real estate, Mike!
