Me neither......this thing has assumed tremendous proportions and I can't wait!
There are going to be a couple GREAT stories come out of this. . . I'll give ya the makin's of one. Wes and Pammy, who played a vital role in our succeess, couldn't resist the chance to come gather with the Elves. Problem: Their daughter is getting married at 2:00pm the following day...which is not the morning they are leaving Wisconsin. If you thinking racing involves intricate logisitics, you ain't seen nothing till you study the flowchart of what it takes to get Wes and Pammy, to Milwaukee, but through Atlanta (near the wedding venue) and insure they have a layoff short enough to keep them headed toward Elf-Ville, but long enough to deposit the younger daughter in the custody of waiting relatives, who can pick them up, out of Elf attire and into wedding garb....return their daughter to them and get them from the airport to the wedding in like 1 hour....Geeeesh.
Worst case scenario is that Pammy will be the one at Uke's wearing a wedding dress. I'll tolerate some confusion just to have her and the "Horsepower Hubby" with us!
I'm drowning in a sea of nametags and trying to get t-shirt made in 48 hours!
Elves all over the Wisconsin / Chicago area are at work insuring preparations are done.
Our poster decorations for the event are coming from Hootowl in Texas.....TEAM ELVES, once again, becomes the model of effective collaboration....a lot of people each doing their part well and in perfect synch!

Anything else that needs to be done? As it has been stated in the past, all you have to do is suggest it and somehow it takes on a life of it's own.
I hate to just show up and not help out. Just say the word and the Elves can make everything "magicaly delicious" (Uh oh, I'm mixing mythical creatures)

I picked up a good dose of laryngitis in the last week. So, hey, may not be at the Elves Fest as much as I am really looking forward to it.
Unless someone can be designated to sit in a corner and listen to me WHISPER??? LOL DOOOOOOH !!!

HELP:
I may need someone to help Dyna get all these names tags in the holders, make arrangements to have a "nametag pickup area" at Uke's (2 feet of counter top would do) and help Dyna with the nametags. Vickie ran them all out yesterday, they look great.
DYNA: I was going to mail these but am thinking that, at this date, might get us in trouble. Any chance I can arrange to get them to Uke's an hour or so early and have you start assembling them?

More like staying up late on Saturday having fun when I coulda' been home in bed. Will see here in the next few days. Got 7 days off for T-giving and 10 days off for X-mas. Working for a Tribe does have its pitfalls.  So, gotta get something done at some point! eh?

A quick question.
Will recording instruments be allowed at the "Post Prom Party" i.e. cameras and the like? I mean do we want evidence!! Sort of like the unwritten rule: NO cameras allowed at Batchelor Parties.

Absolutely......let me say, that over the past 15 years, I've had my picture taken with damn near everyone who's anyone in the world of Buell. But...I have never had my picture taken with someone who had FLAMES painted on a BLAST®.
