Hey,
My cousin used to race the BOTT series on an XR1000 from Performance HD in Syracuse NY. He has some good shots from the 1981 Laconia race

Hi Matt, how the heck are you?
Wow, some nice old pics. One of those posts mentioned Jimmy Adamo; I remember running with Jimmy at some of the original AMACCS races, and I remember when he died at Daytona. He was one hell of a guy and great racer....Damn concrete walls.

Happy New year to you!

Matt,
Doing well, moved and divorced since I last saw you, living in Streetsboro, Ohio now. Raced and instructed with the school last season at Nelson Ledges with Fasttrax, been busy building a track bike this winter. Revolution performance is doing the engine work, it's a XB9 punched out to 1208cc, stage 3 heads, all the goodies : ) Should be fun.

Dave
Sorry to hear about the divorce, hope it gives more time for riding. Sounds like you need to meet up with Shazam and compare monster XB9s!

And back to the thread,

here;s one of what I believe is the original Lucifer's hammer. Check out that frame

lucifer

And here's a couple of my Cousin Mick's bikes, one was a kr750 based bike and the other an XR1000. Mick said the Kr750 bike was tough as it was a right shift with a racing pattern. Check out the high tech number plates

kr750

xr1000

Any of you guys remember racing against him?

Whoops,
goofed up on the Lucifer's hammer bike, the white #32 above was ridden by Dale Quarterly against Lucifer's Hammer. Picture is from 1986 @ Pocono
