Hi, it's almost time for front brake pads. Lyndall Gold on there now. I see Lyndall now has an "extreme" pad.
What brake pads do you prefer?

I've been using EBC HH (sintered metal) pads - I just found out that if you drip fork oil on them, they don't work very well! Who knew!?

Unless someone chimes in with another recommendation, I'll probably put a fresh set on when I put the front back together with a new fork seal.

Totally agree. I've had really good luck with the EBC's.

Update - I have ordered the seals, bushings and 'stopper rings' from my local HD dealership

A PO had apparently decided the rings were not necessary. I'm not sure they are, but figured the designers know more than I do...

The items are all available on the HD computer under the Buell part numbers, but they come from a 'Vintage Parts' vendor. The cost is actually better than what I could find elsewhere, especially considering there is no shipping charge.

All that being said, they are Showa 43mm USD forks - the parts should be easier to find!
