So, I have an MSR in a document tube under my Uly bags.

I had tubes under my old S2 (totaled 4 years ago when I hit a deer).

I have moved those tubes to my new S2T's bags...but I can't find my second bottle. The bottle in my Uly's tube is illegible as to what size it is...what do the tractor owners manual tubes fit, the 20oz? 30oz? I see some used ones on fleabay, 22oz and 33oz...

Just trying to get the new(old) bike outfitted for use....1996, 7800 one-owner miles, I couldn't turn it down!

Pretty darn sure those agritube document holders will fit the 33oz MSR bottles. 33oz is one liter.

I put two of the document holders on my Uly as well. One fit the large Buell Tool Kit perfectly. Actually I had three doc holders. Two behind the bags, one under the license tail.

Well damn, check you out and actual research! Thank you!

I have 3 on the Uly also - one behind the plate, one under each bag. I put a first aid kit under the left bag and fuel under the right bag. The third usually stays empty unless I'm running bagless, and then it gets the fuel. I have the big tool roll strapped inside one bag, and a quart of oil strapped inside the other.

For the S2...it'll likely be fuel in one, maybe tools in the other. First aid is nice to have...but with the narrow bags on the S2 (my usual commute setup) space is kinda premium - nothing like the Uly's caverns! I dunno. We'll see once I get some more miles on the S2. It's been 4 years since I did regular miles on an S2...got some catching up to do!

Thanks again!

...of course, the MSR say "made in China". Grrr.

So, I started looking around and found these:

https://www.throttleaddiction.com/fuel-reserve-bot tle-1-5-liter-whiskey-reserve/

They don't have country of origin...but...I'm sick of buying shit from China, so...

And, it looks like they have a larger one than MSR, that'll fit - 1500mL, or 50 oz, in a 12" tall x 3.5" bottle. I'll measure to be safe, but...I think this is a winner.

Your very welcome Joe!!! Glad to be of service.

I do everything I can to NOT buy Chinese made goods. I just ordered some Made in the USA long johns from a military surplus supply store on ebay. $16 delivered for Gen 4 fire retardant midweight thermals. I call that a score!!! For your height look for size large, long if you're in need of extra warmth.

I like that throttle addiction bottle! It would be a tight fit though. Might need a little lube lol!

Fuel bottles are a great accessory. A one liter bottle is good for approximately 10 miles. That's a lot less pushing!!

Okay, So, I found a made in the USA Fuel bottle. It holds a half gallon, 64oz. Unfortunately it is 10" x 4", so won't fit the agritube. Oh, and it is EXPENSIVE!! $$$

The throttle addiction ones are made in chyna. Same factory as the MSRs, more than likely, just different paint.

I saw one of the bigger tubes on a dirt glide HD in Georgia. He filled the tube full of tools and it blew apart on him on a trail. I run 33 MSR bottles in my tubes. I run a 2.5 gallon fuel cell too.

would yall mind posting some pics of your mounting positions. These seem like and awesome Idea and will free up some underseat space for airflow.

I would be happy to post up some pics, but I no longer have the Uly, sorry.

I mounted mine upside down behind the bags onto the bag rack. Top towards the front.

I would just carry the MSR bottles in my luggage. They never leaked or smelled.
I have them mounted in tubes to the inside of the pannier mounts on Chirpy.
