That is awesome Paul. For the first 50,000 I was right there with you on my 06. Then my business changed about 2010 and my riding fell off. Has taken me 11 years beyond that to get to about 68,000 miles. The damn thing has outlasted my physical being. I had so planned to cross that 100,000 mile plateau. I'm sure the Uly still can do it. Still love riding it in occasional short bursts. Hi Greg and Dr Greg. |

120K is an awesome milestone no matter what kind of bike. My 06 I bought new in 08 only has 23K on it and I want to ride it many more years. |

That's incredible! It goes to show that a well oiled machine lasts for quite some time! Good job!! My current 2007 Ulysses has a smidgen under 22,000 miles; bought it a year and a half ago with ~18k. Having riding seasons has seriously reduced the number of smiles I've put on. I previously had a 2009 1125CR that had almost 71,000 miles when it was stolen (purchased in 2010 with 6969 miles). First IC went at 19k, the replacement had 5 miles. Second went at 23k or so showing on the odometer. Third IC started showing 5 miles, but the bike had about 42k. Odometer showed about 29k. I sure do miss that bike. But, the Ulysses fits a passenger and gear much nicer... |

Thanks Dave, the Uly has treated me well, but not without its share of upkeep, but it's a mechanical piece of gear - - items wear out, maintenance is required, etc.
Added a new member to the stable, but keeping the Uly. . .
Ride Safe. |

What happened with the Buell? Belt failure? (Message edited by TPEHAK on March 28, 2022) |

Holy Time Warp, Jerry! ! ! I remember the Buell ride you hosted right after H-D announced the shuttering of Buell!! We ended up at the little bar with the creek running through it. . .literally, a creek running through the bar. Long time, glad to see you still hanging around. Ride safe, Paul |

LMFAO. Time warp for sure, Paul. Great memories. I'm glad to see you are still rocking it too. 120K+ miles!! My hats off to you. Your new one looks like fun, too. I've sold all my street bikes but still drop by here just for fun. Me and the wife got dirt bikes now. Tracy has a Yamaha TW200, and loves it just like she loved her Blast. I just raced my Yamaha WR450F in the desert 100 in Odessa WA last weekend and place high enough to trophie in the old man class. I may not have a Buell anymore, but I'll never give up motorcycles. I'm addicted. Looks like you are too. Thanks for the Buell memories, Paul. (Message edited by debueller on April 14, 2022) |
