Oh . . it gets LOTS better than that.

Nino and Giuseppe Verlicchi made incredible frames. They've made them for a handful of manufactures but never anything like the Buell design.

The design was, in fact, so proprietary that different parts of the frame production were done by different firms in different countries.

Skycraft.

No one knew the entire process.

There are some amazing factoids behind so may parts of the XB line.

Probably unlikely. . . . but some of the best stories in the history of Buell occurred during the start up of EBR.

Classics like the HD real estate neophyte . . . . the folks who came looking for the Barracuda development bikes and the Griffin . . . .that we hid by putting Honda dirt bike stickers on it. (ever with BUELL cast Is the case).

There were so many classic tales of folks working 20 hour days and the small group of Elves was doing some of the most amazing work in the career of Erik Buell.

That list is the worst list for basically anyone who knows anything about a Uly.

Though, as always Court has sprinkled in just a couple bits of knowledge that are way more interesting than the "news"

^ Itís probably an accurate title for people who never owned a Uly, or maybe a Buell for that matter.

He called it TOP HEAVY right off the bat so I figured reading the rest was a waste of time.

This thing is so easy to pick up because it is anything but.
I should know...

That's how I usually park my bicycle laying it on the ground.

Given the instability of the Uly side stand, that seems expected.}

"It ended up quite tall, the trademark under-belly exhaust also doubled up as a skid-plate (well, kind of) and its increased height messed with their mass-centralized design mantra as it ended up being a bit top-heavy."

To be fair, this doesn't seem that far off the mark.

I too have had the fortune of having to pick one up, haha.
