I'm removing the rear wheel on the 06 July and the axle will not pull through the right bearing, it is hitting something solid. Very perplexing.
What the heck could be on it to make it stop at the bearing?
Never did this before.

Okay got it out, it seem to have been hitting the inside edge of the bearing.

Sometimes it helps to walk away for awhile.

That will work.
I always stick a stout rod through the swing arm and a foot under the rear wheel and weasel the stuff around until it slides out.

Got the new Shinko 705 mounted and the wheel back on the bike. I have a 616 on the front and was concerned about how a different rear tire would effect handling but so far it feels just fine.

I wonder how that 170 series looks on the rim

I feel that a 190 rear tends to sharpen the steering, but a new front tire obviously has a larger effect
