Ooops, my bad, shoulda checked profile 1st.
09 XT, replacement? Ouch!
I'm working out how I could fit 19"s, to try out DT tires on the Excellent backroads around here in NW Ontario. They build them well, for logging & other access mostly recreational now, but built for trucks, Excellently packed & drained crushed rock, nice clay cap, again well drained, solid, reliable, & Killer to ride on while steaming off after passing rain showers, canz play XR750@sane speeds, where there's terrain, too much fun!
Wanna step it up@Ulytime, just don't want to lose BiG & Beautious Front brake, but that not likely to make it. Funny thing, just realized that the Most Confidence Inspiring in riding street, after mostly involvement in D-38 Desert Racing, also had 19"s on both ends. A 73 Norton 850, pre electric start Commando, that I swapped w/fellow USCG MK trainee, who weighed about 120lbs soaking wet in winter uniform, his only transpo, from Dundalk outside Baltimore, traded my 71 240Z for the weekend, turnrd me loose@Tidewater rds around Annapolis@such, did it a couple of weekend cuz too much FUN, & that bike would not only let you get away with drifting on asphalt, while wheelying out of corners, but Encourage one to Hoon ever more, Street riding became a thing for moi.
The XB!2X,fitted, as Confidence inspiring as the Norton. F You Willie G. & Board, ded to me, this M/C neVah going to leave me.

I think you're right.
The 2008 and up XB12X had the odd-looking clamps and bottom legs that pitched the tubes forward to get more steering angle.

2008 & up XB12X clamps are Exactly what I desire for experimentation w/rake & trail & machined eccentrics for the stem, to try fitting 19"s, or 18's if only that possible, opening a whole new shoe store for My never going anywhere but w/moi Uly.
eVah!

have a post, that thinkin bout posting here, from last ride w/NW Ontario & other ADVrider.com provincial riders from all over Canada & USA that I sold on the capabilities of this Machine for myself.A search@ADVrider.com for Man Soup, would likely turn it up, sept. 10, 2011 was my 1st post on the thread, last ride on the Uly for moi, caught up in thev Opioid Hysteria, for a Mining injury 25+ years ago, that had stopped All riding, till a meeting w/a Moose, & a heart attack the next year, the one my Uly branded with, put me onto the med mix that enable moi to ride@100% aGain, till Andrew Kolodny decided to hget Rich, by demonizing injured workers, that Produce the things that Built the USA, that I'm no longer residing in, after it tried to Kill moi.

Tootal, I'd be willing to give them a look. What would shipping to 53406 in Wisconsin be? I've been told that the '09 and '10 were different to increase the steering angle.

Any of the XB12X or XT Triple trees will add an additional 1.5 degrees to the steering rake from what my 2006, 2008, and 2010 service manual specifications lists.

Only the 2008-2010 X's have the increased rake trees. The 2006/2007 X and 2008-2010 XT use the same "no rake" trees.

The "rake is the same on both of the tree's. The "trail" is what changes, and then only if you use the non-axel-offset lower fork tubes with the 2008 and up triple clamps. All geometry changes from the forward positioning of the tubes for the better steering sweep lock to lock is completely brought back to same as the pre 2008 because the axel is moved back the same amount as the fork tubes are moved forward. You can reduce the rather long "trail" of your stock geometry by using the forward offset triple trees with the stock non-offset lowers on the pre 2008 bikes and by using the non-offset lower 47mm axel ends from an 1125 on your XB12X. The XT bikes had the straight ends on all years with 43mm tubes so just adding the 2008plus trees on those does it too

Mbest is correct. We say rake but trail is what we meant. So my 06 trees are the same as your XT. If you're wanting a direct replacement then that's what you want. If you're wanting a smaller turning radius than stock then you need the 08+ X trees. That's what I have on my 06 now. So the question is are you replacing bent or broken trees and want to stay stock or are you wanting to change your geometry?
