I like your wife's Jeep!
What's done to it like engine and drive-line?

It has a L35 4.3l chevy motor (200hp), TH350 transmission with a manual valve body and Art-Carr shifter. Uses D18 transfer case with early 70's large pin case.

Suspension is a simple spring-over on military wrap springs and the axles are both re-positioned to give this old girl a 92" wheelbase. Saginaw power steering and full hydro-boost brakes makes this the best stopping Willys I've ever seen.

Front axle is a narrowed Dana 44 from an early 80's vintage full size Blazer and it sports 4.27 gears, a Lock-Rite differential lock and Warn hubs, upgraded axle shafts (Dutchman.

Rear axle is also a Dana44 (with 6-lug to match the front) with disk brakes and extra large semi-float shafts. (These were made by Dana for Isuzu and Honda SUV's believe it or not) Lots of them in the local wreckers. This is also a good source for "Thick" gear 4.27 gearsets. They will bolt onto a 3.73 carrier. This axle has an ARB selectable locker.

Corbuea seats, a roll cage that needs to be replaced, a 12-gallon fuel cell that needs to be replaced and relocated. Shocks are a little stiff for the little Willys, so I'm hoping to stumble across some adjustable Fox or Kings to fit it.

Well, thats probably waaaaay mnore than you wanted to know!!!
